Last week in the Library we read "Walk of the Whales" by Nick Bland.  This is a beautifully written book with a superb environmental theme - the perfect read for "CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA" week!

This week we celebrate DR SEUSS day (Sunday 2 March).  Great rhyme and silly word patterns which demand to be read aloud with expression and voice!!  Even if some of the words are made up!  

We were also very excited to receive a big batch of NEW BOOKS purchased at the end of last year, and earlier this year.  All children are reminded to check out the NEW BOOK shelf as they enter the library for the latest editions to our book collections.  Thankyou goes to all our wonderful families who have purchased books through Scholastic over the years, as many of our new purchases are paid for with scholastic store credit points.  THANKYOU
